We hereby invite you to participate in Scandinavias biggest Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in 2025

Official written Fiesta language: 

English, not important information can be provided in Danish. Metsheets and other flight relevant information will be in English.

Briefing options:
During the Fiesta, preliminary briefings will be given in a Fiesta WhatsApp group and Metsheets and other flight relevant documents will be downloadable from the official website.
It is though mandatory to participate in the pre-flight briefing on the CLA before every flight. Attendance records will be made.

Maximum number of entries:
30 balloons between size 56.000 cbf. and 120.000 cbf. and 10 balloons with size under 42.000 cbf.

Entry closing date:
1st of April 2025

400 Euro for regular shaped balloons between 56.000 cbf. and 120.000 cbf.

300 Euro for Special shapes

200 Euro for envelopes under 42.000 cbf (E.g. Cloudhoppers)

In the Entry fee the following is included:

• Gas during the event.

First gas refuelling will be the 13th August, after the evening flight, so please arrive with full tanks. The last refueling will be the 17th of August, after the morning flight. There are planned 8 gas refuellings in total.

There will be no free gas refuelling prior to the Fiesta. If gas is needed upon arrival, please contact the Fiesta Director for the practical details and payment prior the start of the Fiesta.

• 2 special Fiesta T-shirts

There will be free T-shirt for the pilot and 1 crewmember.

If additional crewmembers would like a Fiesta T-shirt, the cost is 50 Euro per crewmember. Payment for the T-shirts shall be done together with the entry fee. Do not expect to buy additional T-shirts at check-in. Additional T-shirts can be ordered untill Closing Entry Date.

• 1 pilot bag , containing goodies and information about the Fiesta and the area.

• Free digital flight map, including Sensitive Areas list.

The digital map in format: .ozf4, .jpg and .bmp.

The PZ/SA and CLA in format: .wpt, .gpx, .kmz.

The official ICAO map of the area in GEO-TIFF and PDF.

All of these maps will be downloadable from the Fiestan website in the months leading up to the Fiesta.

Below is the program as of now. Changes to the actual program can be made and will be communicated.

On Friday the 15th or Saturday the 16th of August there will be performed a Night Glow at the CLA. If you would like you and your ballon to participate in this and SAVE 100 Euro at the entry fee (+ free gas for the Night Glow), please add this in your entry form.

Payment information will be provided when your application have been approved by the organisation

The participant shall provide documentary evidence of a valid insurance for the period of the Fiesta covering any balloon which he/she may fly. Minimum insured values are listed below:

The pilot must hold a valid medical, have at least 50 hours PIC on the balloon and be valid on the group of balloons.

The rules and restrictions for the Fiesta will be uploaded ongoingly on the official website. 

The website will be updated with all of the Fiesta specific details latest on the 1st of April, 2025.

It is strictly forbidden to fly with passengers against renumeration during the Fiesta and to exercise other commercial operations during the Fiesta.
